So, Jordan Travis gets the Heisman now, right? After all, he solely kept a P5 undefeated champion out of the playoff. If he didn't play that well to deserve it, it meant the team was more than one player.

To me that is the obvious conclusion. Also, I don't buy docking a team that loses a player. The team got there, you evaluate them based on what they did. If you pick them and the QB takes a header in the stairwell the next morning do you drop them?

No. You are what your record says you are.

Did people really think going undefeated was the be all and end all? Come on people.

Nice effort by Iowa this weekend. Way to show up for the Big 10 West.

And DeSantis wants to set aside $1M of state money in case FSU ends up suing....

Florida politicians are wacko. They've had a running fight with the Mouse, after all. Only thing that would've been crazier is Texas politicians if the Longhorns had been hosed. They probably would've use AR-15's, though.

I, for one, am shocked that they've continued to find a way to move closer and closer to the schools paying the players to play.

Well, Emmert stuck his head in the dirt and said everything was perfect and we got NIL, so I guess Baker is trying the exact opposite.

So an Indiana football player entered portal last week and announced he was coming to Minnesota

today he decided he’s staying at Indiana

all these people changing teams every year is certainly something

I take it you saw the Gopher news that the backup QB is rumored to paid 30k to stick around to play the Quick Lane Bowl? Start and third string transferred, so he was the only scholarship QB left and according to the story, even he didn't want to play. He wanted to move to Arizona to get started on post college life with his fiancee.

In conference realignment news, Oregon State and Washington State will be joining the WCC in non-football sports. Only exception is baseball which the conference is giving the schools 30 days to decide if they want to join or go independent. In football, I believe they’re still officially Pac 12 with a scheduling partnership with the MWC.

And on the other side of the country, Florida State is looking to challenge the ACC Grant of Rights and leave the conference early.
