>>>>RIT Tigers 2010-2011<<<<

Re: >>>>RIT Tigers 2010-2011<<<<

One day, a Panther is out hunting in unfamiliar territory when she sees a Tiger. Being small and faster she could run away, but she is in the tight confines of the Ritter woods and speed wouldn't help her since she doesn't know the lay of the land. So, she spies a pile of old bones and settles down with them with her back to the Tiger.
"Mmmmm, that Tiger tasted good," she loudly exclaims when she senses the Tiger stalking closer, "I wonder if there are any more of them around here?"
The Tiger stops in her tracks. "Phew, I thought I could pounce that Panther, but I'm glad I didn't leap too soon -- she would have eaten me like she did that other."
The Tiger slunk away.
Meanwhile, a young Cadet who had been watching both sides of the event, saw the ruse that the Panther had performed and followed the Tiger to share his information with her and gain her protection and good favor (until he was big enough to carry his own gun).
When the Tiger heard about the deception, she angrily commanded, "hop on my back, we'll go back to that sneaky Panther and show her not to fool with Tigers!"
As the Panther was gamely trying to make her way home through the unfamiliar territory, the Tiger and the Cadet caught up to her and she saw and heard them in the distance. When she saw the Cadet with the Tiger, she knew something was up, so instead of running, she settled down again with her back to the two of them as they approached and started to growl.
As they came within hearing distance, she announced, "where is that useless Cadet? I'm starving! I told him to bring me back another Tiger an hour ago."

The moral: Be wary of experienced Panthers, and don't trust everything you hear.:)

And then a Gust(ie) came through and blew them away!

The moral of that? Don't overlook any opponents...;)

I blame the fans they have several that can't help but poke the giant in the eye. We all know who they are

I remember my first time on the internet.

Nice work this year Tigers, hope to see you in the finals again next year!

Congrats to Norwich, you played a hell of a game.

A stick tap to The Tigers of RIT for putting on one of the best National Championships in the history of D3 Women's Hockey.

We all know that the NCAA swoops in and takes the promotion of this event on and this years addition of the games streaming live via NCAA.com was a nice touch and a tradition that I'm sure all hockey fans will hope continues.

The NCAA doesn't however put the bums in the seats, the enthusiasm in the crowd, the pep band in the stands or the crew in the corner and only RIT can be given the credit for that. Congratulations on hosting the best National Championship to date...you did us all proud.

Agreed 110 percent. RIT did a phenomenal job in every aspect of hosting the tournament. My hat is off to them for a tremendous season.

Interesting comments and I'm sure RIT did a great job...but you're a little over the top. How many of these have you been to?

Re: >>>>RIT Tigers 2010-2011<<<<

What....You mean like the part where he say's he agrees 110 percent?

Did you take your meds today? :)

Second opinion: it was nicely run -- must have been 6-8 security guards watching the visiting crowd with full police/public safety presence (again, mostly on the visitor's side) -- very comforting to keep the odd photographer a full hand's length away from the glass. I think they might have been better deployed on the ice during a few of the games since the refs were having difficulty with that crowd control at times. RIT crowd was boisterous but not brash, and they were very quiet during play (surprisingly so) -- pep band was a big plus. The concession service was a tad slow and undermanned, but that's because it was a little too stressed serving the A-listers in the private boxes their coffee, donuts, sandwiches, etc. both and pre, post and during the game. Second concessions only open when home team playing and spotlights used to blind the referees and goalies pre-game. Fire alarm announcements coincided with massive horn blasts which came with the intro of each team , causing partial evacuations and confusion each time a team re-entered the ice. But otherwise, nice...

A much better review...thanks Phil...at least you were there to experience the weekend.
Lil "5-0" has a tendency to go overboard..."the best yet"..."the best in history"...c'mon...he wasnt even there...guess he's used to defending petty thieves to a jury of cowboys...gotta dress it up, eh... :)

Again, congrats to all involved.

Lil...? Your the one that's starting to shrink. :D

I watched online Seyless and had a few friends in attendance who's daughters were playing and they were texting and calling throughout the w'end. I can't imagine you had that luxury... due to your lack of friends. Even know a few girls involved that were also in contact. They all said it was an unreal experience. The Best!

Relax Seymore...it's like the Oscar's it just keeps getting better every year! Yee Haw!
