The Ruth W. Corcoran Women’s Hockey Endowed Fund has been established in her memory to support the continued success of the RIT Tigers. The fund is made possible by a $50,000 contribution from RIT alumni Lori Farr-Rusin, former RIT women’s hockey player, and David Rusin, the team’s former assistant head coach.

Thinking about it. The Men's team is on the road to Mercyhurst that weekend.

Tough call, a game in Erie PA or a weekend in Norwich VT in the fall.

It is a tough call for you guys. How far a drive?

Got to believe however that the East/West lineup is stellar due to the 4 teams that are there. Should be some great action and all tightly contested.

Let us know what your plans are.

It's about 6-6:30 hours from Rochester to Northfield.

I've made the drive plenty of times to see the First Lady.

The East/West Classic is going to be a dandy of four high quality D-III hockey games. I can't wait!

Re: >>>>RIT Tigers 2010-2011<<<<

Great now I get to spend money on a camo jersey. They really know how to get money from me.

This is a really good idea, and a great cause. It will be money well spent. I can't wait to see how these jerseys come out.
Last year's Blackout game vs Plattsburgh will be tough match, both in the crowd (2100 people) and money raised ($10,000).

There's more to these jerseys as well regarding how they're being acquired that I can't talk too much about, but just know that they may be real jerseys instead of the screened ones like in the past, and that RIT may not be spending a dime on them (as in they're being donated entirely).

That would be awesome.
