HHT but it looked dicey for a bit. I will say, happy to have a buddy with a smart phone and the FSN app so we could watch the first period at a local taproom. :) The final taproom I hit up (he had to go home for daddy-daughter night) had the game on the tv.

Denver sweeps the UNO Mavs.

After being outscored 2-0 in the opening period on Friday, the Pioneers swamped the Mavs by outscoring them 10-1 over the remainder of the series. Goalie Tanner Jaillet backstopped the Pios to a 5-0 win tonight earning Denver its first shutout of the season. Open weekend coming up followed by a home and home with CC.

Two nights in a row it's been like a tomb in here. Even typing makes a ton of noise. I can only assume that night #3 (Sun. night) will be a $hitshow.
On the plus side, I've been able to set up a study schedule for an exam that I want to take for work, start a new book, and drive home safely (read: not so exhausted that I'm weaving).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #189: The Winter of our Discontent.

Finally saw one of the mice I knew were somewhere in the house tonight. Big jerk. Well fed. I checked everything in our cupboards, they haven't gotten into anything in there yet. Seeing it upstairs lets me know I definitely got rid of all their food downstairs. I'm happy I saw where it ran to get away, a trap is going there tomorrow. I have a couple other places upstairs I'll be setting them, as well as a bunch in the basement. I have figured out their traffic patterns down there. This is gonna be fun.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #189: The Winter of our Discontent.

Good morning Lodge. Up early this Sunday morning, getting ready to drive my folks to the airport for their annual trip to Florida. I'm hoping we don't have any problems. There were protesters at Logan last night but I'm hoping it was at the international terminal. I'm just glad the weather is good.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Fun weekend. Even though SCSU didn't win, it was great hanging out with a few friends.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #189: The Winter of our Discontent.

Morning, Lodge. Sitting at church, and cricket is on. Still trying to figure out all the rules (no audio, so that adds to the difficulty). Entertaining to watch, though.

Have to fly in and out of JFK this week, and the protesters are/were at T4, which is the Delta terminal. The good news, is that I can mostly avoid bag claim (which is where I figure a lot of them are demonstrating).

http://cricket-rules.com/ good explanation.
I live Cricket- fun game to watch and the Social part of cricket is just as important as the game.

Good Morning Lodge!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #189: The Winter of our Discontent.

Just seeing on Twitter in the last 25 minutes that Delta is having another system-wide IT outage. Full ground stop. The works.

Maybe I won't be going to NYC tomorrow after all.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #189: The Winter of our Discontent.

Not full. Domestic ops only. They'll probably get it fixed by tomorrow.
On another note, ANC may be running out of Type I de-ice fluid and the barge with the tanks to replenish supply doesn't arrive until tomorrow...
