I have a theory..........my Bruins are reeling and so are you guys. If one or the other team can win a game.... the other will be lifted right out of the mess and come out of their slump.

Is that all it's gonna take? I guess I can start rooting for the Bruins... anything to help the Bobcats! This has to end sometime, right?

either way, you will see me and my group of friends that are really, truly passionate about our bobcats, in our same spot, front row right behind the net, as always.

You guys do seem dedicated, unlike the rest of the student section!

I especially liked the little side show you gave last night! That took a pair about the size of basketballs! Kudos to you... for a few minutes you had the students all riled up and ready to go.

*cough* *cough* hey!!! don't forget about the four rows of my residents in section 111!! we stay the entire game! and get there about as early as you do old man don't forget about us! we provided quite colorful commentary at times too, myself included haha

and don't forget we avoided five rogue pucks last night! talk about dedication!!


but yes, Q needs to break this slump. Cornell played a great game last night, but it shouldn't have been a shut out. we need to find the net someohow. i dont know if i can take watching yet another game that we outshoot our opponent but still manage to lose...

Not much to say...you guys all hit on it. I'm watching the game on TV right now. The first goal was tough but shoulda been stopped, the second was atrocious. It's incredible how quickly the arena cleared out going into the 3rd period of a 1-0 game...no spirit (except for our boys in the front row and starless and her crew).

Sully we'd love to see ya at the pole at 113 come by if ya get a chance. Colgate is battling for a first round by and are only 2 points behind Mike's beloved SLU Saints. They will come out hard.

Word from our alumni contingent in the building for alumni weekend, if we thought that last night was an on paper, Yankee Stadium sellout then we're in for it tonight with various alumni events going on concurrently. I hope we get a decent student turnout but if you asked me if I thought I'd see that many empty seats last night I wouldn't have believed it.

Oh well, got QU basketball at 3 p.m. maybe they'll continue winning.

Twice! And they didn't! That means... WIN!!!

Pinch me... I must be dreaming! It's been so long but it feels great!

It was a really good game both ways. Clarke was great tonight! Other than one really bad shift where Colgate was pressuring, he stood his ground all night and made some nice saves. Not once did he seem to lose the puck and he never looked back over his shoulder! I think his play helped the rest of the team to relax a bit. They seemed more at ease tonight than they've been in a long while.

A much needed win for sure!

i'm so relieved to hear we won! i couldn't make the game, but from what i listened to, it sounded like we played great!

Jimmy we missed ya this weekend but I'm glad you're still keeping track down there in FLA. All out effort tonight against a tough Colgate squad. Clarke played his best game of the year and like Rand said after the game, the seniors finally all played well together.

Brian it was great meeting ya and hope to see you around the Bank sometime in the near future, keep up the great coverage of our boys and the rest of the league.

Keep it going next weekend! We'll talk during the week Bobcat fans!

Rand was downright giddy in the postgame... I don't think I've ever heard him that excited after a win! I'm sure he's just as relieved as the rest of the team, but they have to remain focused and build on this. A tough two weeks on the road coming up and points are critical from here on out.

I'm guessing you and allnightwong were the two individuals by the Section 113 sign wearing the gold Quinnipiac jerseys. (And I'm guessing you were in the blue hat Mark.) I was wearing a white cap with the words "Red Sox" along with a Maroon sweatshirt with the words "Raider Nation," though at times I had a black coat on to keep warm. I walked by the Section 113 sign during the 1st intermission but didn't get a chance to properly say hi because it appeared you were currently talking to someone else. But I'll most definitely be making the trip there whenever Colgate plays at Quinnipiac each year. It's a nice arena.

...and congratulations on getting the monkey off your back, though I don't like to admit it. I was headed for the exit after Quinnipiac's 2nd goal. Man did you need that win. I guess it returns the favor of us sweeping you guys in the regular season last year.
