Re: New Poll Predictions for 11/30
Fixed your post:
And to Ryan, prepare to "take me out back and shoot me": if you were at the Plattsburgh game, Oswego was outplayed in that game. Oswego won the game against a goaltender playing his second varsity game. Do I think Plattsburgh is the #1 team in the country? I don't know...but since I come at it from a Cardinal perspective (and can admit it) and you come at it with green and gold colored glasses, maybe we aren't the most objective folks to make that call...

I like this logic - really do.
Remaining games vs currently ranked teams:
Oswego: Plattsburgh, Adrian
Plattsburgh: @Oswego, @Norwich, @Elmira, @Middlebury
Oh and what about these guys?
Salem St.
St. Norbert (3) win on the road 3-0
St. Scholastica (6) lost in their barn in OT.
Remaining games against ranked teams -- @NEC(rv)
What we have here is BCS. If the pollsters perceive you as a hot thit team at the start of the season, you stay a hot thit team until you thit the bed. But if you are perceived to be a thit team, tough thit.
If you think this is a case to get SSC in the top 15, no it is not. I can use figgers and logik to make team in the current poll look good. Stout had a bad weekend (well, a REALLY bad weekend) while Salem had a pretty good one. As others have have pointed out, all this poll does is say "What have you done for me lately".
The only poll that counts is the one that is released by the NCAA on 3/7/10 showing the top 11 - which gives me a name for the D3 championship. Off to that thread.....
