Re: D-III Women's Bracketology
Who would be the highest seed between platty and elmira?

As I just said, either way you probably end up with two flights. It's either 1 flight in the first round and 1 for the finals or two for the finals. I'd prefer two for the finals. .
I still think it's all moot anyway and Adrian's staying home
Look for Adrian as the eighth team and probably playing Elmira in the first round.
Does that mean Trinity flies out to play Wisconsin-River Falls? Should Adrian be in and play at Elmira it leaves Plattsburgh, Norwich and Trinity in the East? I find it hard to believe there will be 2 NCHA schools rather than 2 NESCAC schools!!!
Because of your overvalue of the NESCAC? It would make a strong case for my argument that the NESCAC isn't really that strong if Adrian gets in...and boy would that drive that one crazy person(Crosscheck) even crazier.
Like I've said...if Adrian is in and goes to Elmira that most likely means that St. Thomas is flying to Plattsburgh. St. Thomas is the only team in the tourney that has never been ranked, so you'd have to imagine that they are the overall 8th seed.

You honestly think the NCHA plays hockey on the same level as the NESCAC? I mean I admit to a bias based on something like 50 or so games I attend a season. Top to bottom the NESCAC is the most competitive conference. So, you have watched a lot of NCHA action and my impression of the NESCAC is biased and incorrect? Or is this your bias based on living west of Pennsylvania?
We both agree that if Middlebury and Adrian had won, that neither conference, most likely, would have had 2 teams in the tournament
And if you want to talk toughest conference top to bottom...WIAC
It's 10:00... What's the over/under on how late this thing gets started?
It's official - 5/3 split and St Thomas to Plattsburgh.
Hmmmm..... really struggling with Middlebury getting a home game against Norwich.....after losing to Trinity in the final at home. And I'm a NESCAC supporter.

Think whole body of work. The NCAA doesn't weight the loss to Trinity any heavier than any other game. Therefore, straight up, I don't think there was any doubt Middlebury would be ranked above Norwich.
Seeding was pretty easy to figure out:
1. Plattsburgh
2. Elmira
3. UW River Falls
4. Middlebury
5. Norwich
6. Trinity
7. Lake Forest
8. St. Thomas
My only surprise was that they moved Lake Forest ahead of St. Thomas. Maybe the boys on "the other site" will explain it to us.
Agreed on the seeding comment. This was probably the shortest meeting of the committee when it came to selecting the at-large. When #1 and #3 ranked teams lose in the 2 strongest conferences, they are going to move on with the records and SOS they have.
So, the Plattsburgh men have a home Quarterfinal on 3/21... The same date & time as the Women's National Championship game. What happens? Who moves?
I think the toughest question they had was Plttsburgh or Elmira for the #1 overall. It appears they went with Plattsburgh, probably because of the ever-so-slightly higher SOS and the Last 25% (which was the one criterion that wasn't essentially deadlocked).
