I agree, I like the look of their jerseys right now with the cursive. Although the away jerseys look alright.

Pictures? Stupid NESN+ didn't show it just blathered on and on with graphics on their screen and so far nothing in the intermission report on the Bruins game.

Love the white jersey with the Spartan logo on it. That's sweet looking.

Not impressed with the addition of black to the uniforms. They are green and white and that's that. Black pants and a black stripe on the sock (and black accents to the goalie equipment). STUPID!!!!

ps - Zud, I'd be really surprised to see any changes to the uniform aside from an Under Armour logo. Pretty anxious to see what happens but I think our hockey team is largely going to be unaffected.

Has it been confirmed that the hockey team is going to make the switch along with the rest of the athletic department to Under Armour?

Concerning the switch to Under Armour it totally remains to be seen how it affects hockey. They don't have any prior presence in hockey. Will they try to get into it? Who knows. They do apparel and footwear. My best bet is that you see the BC jerseys totally unchanged but with an UA logo and they try to make a RBK Edge/Nike Swift type jersey for BC as they will probably be able to do a good job with that. Highly unlikely they'll go into equipment. At that point, BC may get a contract with another manufacturer for hockey equipment and be exempt from everything except the jersey (they could go back to CCM/RBK), or just be free to do whatever they want.

A related story... I was at the spring game today and did the tour of the Yawkey Center for Flynn Fund donors. They had pictures of the football UA BC uniforms in the equipment room and they were almost completely untouched from the RBK style unis based on the drawings I looked at (would have liked to have snapped a pic). Anthony Castonzo - up for a Rhodes Scholarship if anyone that was not aware - was doing the tour at that point and said that BC would have 12 combinations of jerseys/pants for 2011 and beyond. They had drawings of those as well and some of them were godawful ugly.

Definitely. I'll hopefully be in Connecticut with a real job but I'll be at a few games next year for sure.

It's confirmed Cav is not going to OSU. Not sure there are any other top tier jobs opening up, so BC should keep him around for another year. Nice to know the York/Cav/Brownie combo will once again be guiding the ship.
