i'm not ashamed to be a diehard, the more the merrier. things were more fun when there were more "diehard" bu fans on here. guess they weren't diehard after all ;)

Awwww, poor carter is still upset that he roots for a third rate team from a second rate school.

He's just happy that his third rate team beat Merrimack last night for the first time in FIVE years.

Demko leads Hockey East (conference games only) in GAA and SP. Not bad for a kid who just turned 18. A "true" freshman if you will. Nice to see.

i've watched that numerous times/slowed it down, etc....i don't know how you can come to that conclusion. i can't tell from the quality of that video either way.

As a 3rd party in all this he caught him with the forearm to the head but it didn't look intentional (and looks to more the UML guy fell into it). That should not have been a penalty.

i maintain that you cannot tell where he contacted him due to the camera angle. he very well may have hit him in the head. i just don't think it's clear. it's entirely possible he hit him right below the throat, but of course, that makes me a fanboy

Watching the replay again I noticed McGraph turning to Ref and tapping his head. My first reaction to the hit last night was interference....Suter never even had the puck.

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

well that part certainly doesn't surprise me, i would expect that type of reaction. definitely agree on it being interference.

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

So if BC runs the table, which certainly likes possible/probable, does the Holy Cross loss become the biggest upset in college hockey history?

No, but I am ecstatic that UVM actually kept it close with BC and didn't get shutout like Lowell. If UVM sweeps lowell next weekend they would own the tiebreaker and this third rate team would finish ahead of UML...making the River hawks a what... 4th rate team?

Disclaimer: UVM finishing ahead of UML assumes that UVM will sweep MC and BC will in turn sweep Lowell.
