Your program's Mount Rushmore

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

Yeah, another quality thread being driven down the toilet.

FS23 - When are you going to start the voting? Just curious :)

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

Minnesota - Herb Brooks, Neal Broten, Doug Woog and Don Lucia would all work as a "Mount Rushmore" representing Gopher Hockey.

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

None of them played in the DI era

I'm sorry, did I miss a criterion somewhere? I'm sorry I haven't been around as long as you have, komey, but you don't need to criticize my selections.

that was just another punk undisciplined Jeff Sauer team, that lost it's composure. Sure the refs sucked, but they would have given back a few of those penalties, if the idiot baddger players would have had any class whatsoever.

Sunday will probably see the first round of voting. Clarkson, Minnesota, and St. Lawrence will be up first. North Dakota, Maine, and BU could also begin.

Also, don't forget to vote in the poll of what program you follow. That will ensure that your vote gets weighed appropriately.

I'm sure there's a point in there somewhere...

If nominations aren't closed, I'd like to add Fido Purpur to UND. He did not play for them and only coached for about 6 years, but he was as important as anyone in establishing college hockey at UND.

Plus, anyone cool enough to have a zamboni lead his funeral procession has to be in the running.

Clarkson

Minnesota

Wisconsin

Also, if you have not voted for which program you follow, please do so in the polls section. By selecting the program that you follow, you ensure that your vote will be given additional weight when voting for your program's Mount Rushmore.

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

FS23 - You know what might be fun. After everyone's Mount Rushmore are done, maybe do some sort of round robin and windle the people down until we have a College Hockey's Mount Rushmore. It would be interesting to see whom college hockey fans think are the most influential people in college hockey history.

I don't see how that could go wrong...
