Your program's Mount Rushmore

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

Some more for Harvard:
Allen Bourbeau
Ted Donato
Don Sweeny
Peter Ciavaglia
Jack Hughes
Steve Martins
Noah Welch
Gene Kinasewich
Dave Johnston

Added to Harvard's list. There are currently 16 nominees for Harvard. That means Harvard's poll will likely go up tomorrow.

Also on tap for tomorrow (or Thursday): RPI, Michigan Tech, UMD, LSSU, Bowling Green, Mankato, and RIT. (I will likely do 4 tomorrow and 4 Thursday)

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

Want to join others in thanking you, FS23, for the work you are putting in on this thread (and others).

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

I will add Tyler Euverman, Dave Burkholder, Peter Bournazakis, Steve Toll, and Jerry Galway to RIT's list of nominees.

I like your list, although Pete (as much as I enjoyed him as a player) would probably not make mine. I'd add Chris "Scooter" Johnstone, Scott Brown and Chris Palmer as some names that need to be on the list. And let's not forget Brian Mason, who coached the 1983 championship and who assembled the team that won in 1985.

I also like komey's point about Jamie Morris; I never saw him play myself, but he should be on the list.

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

A few more polls went up this morning.

Maine:

BU:

Again, if BU or Maine is the team you follow, please make sure to record your allegiance in the "What program do you follow" poll. That way, your vote for the 4 to go on the school's mount rushmore will be given its appropriate weight.

Wow - not much love for BUs only 3-time (1st team) All American, Rick Meagher.

Jamie Morris played a key part in bringing RIT hockey back to National Prominence in the 90s after some down years. The team, as I recall, was quite offensive minded and he sometimes had to make quite a few saves. Think about Guimond on a good team.

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

Four new polls up for today...

Harvard
http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?100804-Mount-Rushmore-Harvard

RIT
http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?100805-Mount-Rushmore-RIT

RPI

Michigan Tech
http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?100808-Mount-Rushmore-Michigan-Tech

Again, if you follow one of these four teams, please make sure to record your allegiance in the "What program do you follow" poll. That way, your vote for the 4 to go on the school's mount rushmore will be given its appropriate weight.

The following teams will likely have their poll go up tomorrow: Duluth, LSSU, Bowling Green, and Mankato.

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

MSU since 1997 (my first year here):
Ron Mason
John Michael Liles
Ryan Miller
Justin Abdelkader

All-time, I'm sure someone will put up a Kip Miller, Ron Scott and/or Mike Donnelly.

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

Ron Mason nomination for LSSU got me thinking ... any one guy get nominated for 3 different schools?

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

Lucia could (but hasn't yet) be nominated for Notre Dame and/or Alaska in addition to his nominations for CC and Minnesota.
I noticed he only had CC and Minnesota, but I certainly think if someone actually ended up nominating anyone for Alaska, Lucia would probably belong along with probably Ric Schafer, Shawn Chambers, and I don't know who else...not really an Alaska fan...

My nominees in no real order:

Don Lucia
Steve Moria
Tyler Eckford
Dean Fedorchuk
Chad Johnson
Scott Greenham
Aaron Voros
Dallas Ferguson

Re: Your program's Mount Rushmore

Interesting to note which programs have a nominee at 100%, and some that do not have at least one nominee at 100%. I wonder if that has to do with the partial voters or the full followers?
