The Field House will be getting updated locker rooms, but if there's one thing I want most, it's to renovate the upper deck to bring it up to code. They've been talking about it, and it would be awesome to see it happen. In the meantime, I hope they take the advice of myself and some other fans who have suggested that they designate a student section. The traditions are hanging by a thread and will fall to their death if they don't. Students show up, but the "old people" get there an hour early and plop down next to the band, so the student don't get to do the Block Party things. It used to be way easier!

Does anyone have any info as to whether or not there will be any video/ live streaming of the WCHA semi final game Saturday (and final possibly Sunday)?

Sunday's game is being televised on FSN.

Definitely FSN, and I flipped through all the service providers listed on that Fox Sports site and they all said "Women's College Hockey | Hockey East Championship: Teams TBA" - 3 pm ET / 2 pm CT.

Edit: I've also seen no information on the GopherSports nor WCHA websites indicating any television coverage.

On the other hand, the FosSportsNorth time is correct for the WCHA game. The BC website site says the HE game is at 1:30 ET. TV being tape delay on NESN 5PM.
We've got some mixed signals happening here :confused:

Both Comcast's online and the on-TV guide say WCHA Women's, Sunday at 2:00. I was told this was happening in advance, so I trust Comcast more than Fox in this case.

The WHEA final is usually on NESNplus live and then NESN on tape delay. As far as I'm aware it hasn't been on another channel outside of that.

Having said that, from what I've heard from someone at Hockey East, "While things may change come game time, to this point the game is not scheduled to be live on NESNplus... The game will be picked up live eslewhere across the country, and we should have those listings before Friday."

Charter cable in Madison has WCHA women for Sunday on 'FOX Sports North Plus', channel 66 or 682. Nothing listed for Saturday. (And nothing at all for WHEA.)

Could have sworn I saw that in addition to Sunday's game on Fox Sports North, that the Saturday games were going to be streamed on the WCHA website. However, I cannot seem to find that article/link anywhere nor can I find anything on the WCHA website.

I believe this will turn out to be true. You probably will be able to access this thru the Minnesota game day page or schedule page also. My guess is the UW site will have a link as well.

Not sure which bench they will use against UMD and (heaven forbid) UND. Against the Gophers, they'll be on the traditional visitor bench -- the right-hand bench as you sit on that side and look across the ice at the penalty boxes.

The doors will open at roughly 1 p.m. each day (an hour before game time).

There was chatter a few weeks ago that, based on what MJ has done before, that UW will use the visitor's bench/locker room should they get to the championship game. I don't know about the semi's, though I'd assume he'd use the visitor's bench as well for consistency and less distractions for the team.

Way to go ARD! Gotta beat C and C in the final 3.

Semi-final games will stream free on WCHA.com or gophersports.com

The championship is on FS-North and the FS-WI alternate channel.

Way to go UW!!!! Another shutout with some great D shutting down the highpowered rodents and ARD had some huge saves.

Mercyhurst....statistically not all that impressive of a team. Gotta bear down and do the deed.

7pm game, love the night game, it will have the feel of a bigtime game, and is a bigtime game.

Great win over the gophers today. ARD was fantastic as well as all of her teammates who blocked a lot of the shots before they even got to ARD.
You could tell the BADGER ladies really wanted to win this game. Congrats to the Champs.
Now, let's refocus for the NCAA tourney.
