He didn't know Mr. Jaslow. He really didn't. I could tell by the surprised look on his face. It was about an hour after they were released. Could be because he knows there's only one trail in to the NCAA's.
Bob is lucky to have you as his confidant.

When did it become SUNY's job to help teh ECAC West get an auto bid? Besides, the SUNYAC is best served if the ECAC West doesn't have an auto-bid. It leaves 3 Pool C bids for SUNY teams to compete for. Granted, I can't see a scenario where an ECAC West team doesn't get one, but if they have an autobid, that's one less Pool C bid for SUNY to compete for....
Who said it was a he? I mentioned "associate status", the conversation took off from there.
Not me. "He" was used in the generic term, like Mankind.
Now, get your women's lib *ss back to Massena.![]()
It's bad enough that one of the EcacWest members is all the way down in Aston, Pennsylvania...But Stevenson University? They're in Reistertown, Maryland. That's roughly 100 miles south of Aston where Neumann is... I'm not an expert here, but that doesn't seem like prime real estate for an EcacWest team. I mean travel wise, it's a lot on a team and expenses to go down there or viceversa...for a team such as Stevenson to come all the way north to play a Utica, Hobart, Nazareth etc..![]()
Wow Russell, your panties are in a bunch lately.
Call me anything you want but late for dinner and a liberal are not good choices.
Which is why the addition of centrally located Utica was a no-brainer, travel wise. The distance from Platty to Fredonia is approx 400 miles and to Buffalo is not much less.
Okay, I finally decided to check my sources.
Canton has not even applied to the SUNYAC in any capacity. So, at the earliest, they could join in 2016.
There was a movement to have every SUNYAC hockey team schedule Canton at least once starting next year. However, when some coaches got wind of the fact that Canton is years away from joining, they have "dropped" Canton from their schedule.
You expect us to believe a confederate sympathizer.![]()

Boy, Russell you certainly don't keep up with the times do you? I am not longer union, and futhermore I would have never considered myself a liberal to begin with. I am a registered Republican if you must know sir. You're a Union (and I'm not talking about the school) sympathizer. How can you not be a liberal? Or at least a Democrat...

This movement could have originated in the SUNY administration - whatever they call the governing board of the whole system could have attempted to produce a mandate that said that in order to ... every SUNY school which participates in men's ice hockey should schedule one (or two) games per year with Canton. Since the upperlings are in charge here, such a mandate could bring pressure on the athletic departments at the various branch campi (plural of campus?) to make it happen. I know nothing about SUNY governance, but I've seen trustees, governors, regents, whatevers of state systems get involved in all kinds of day-to-day nonsense that is not their call in any number of state University systems with multiple campi.
I can assure you the scheduling mandate most definitely did not originate with any administration. It was the coaches, led by one very prominent coach, who pushed to schedule Canton.
