A win is a win. I wasn’t impressed with the refereeing and think the refs let UConn get away with murder but they came up big for Maine when it counted on the goalie interference.

Maine needs to put a lot more effort in getting behind the puck. They give up way too many good chances.

One thing about these guys they don't quit

I think this comment defines this years team. They were awful at the start, Ostman was awful at the start, the turnovers at times were brutal! Yet this is a team that does not QUIT! They ply bad and respond. Early on I was thinking maybe it would be good for them to take a beating and learn you can't come out late! But despite being outhit, outskated, and out goal tended in the first they settled down. They got the game under control in the second and, what a 3rd period! We will see what tomorrow looks like. That is such a disheartening loss for UConn, they looked like world beaters early. If Maine can jump on them early tomorrow they will get frustrated. Nice to see the power play get back on track! This team is so much fun to watch and good on Victor to respond and look like the solid goalie we have been able to count on after the first two goals!

Thank god that Bradley guy on UConn can't keep his wires from crossing. But a ton of our guys were way too passive along the wall and in puck battles tonight.

Looked like it was going to be another one of those nights but Ostman made some timely saves on a bunch of high danger chances.

A little puck luck with the posts (think UConn hit 3) and that puck off Percival's skate near the end of the game definitely helped.

Still gonna be a little worried about him going forward as the piece that holds this team back but the finish should be a nice confidence boost for him.

Go back to the today's game opening/in game post to now...big difference when you follow 60 minutes of hockey and not first 4....mid second...patience....this team believes and maybe they thrive on it.
