I would be happy with a split down here, UConn seems to be a bad matchup for us and in our heads. Ostman needs to be pulled if he gives up another goal.

That one was nearly impossible to stop, but Ostman isn't the answer.

The second one was a great redirect, but all season long he’s been giving up the high shots because he goes down too close to the net, giving away the top…Quinnipiac noticed it snd ate him alive with those shots. Matthew Wood saw it tonight and beat him high, hitting the cross bar

Saw Wood open way too much in that first, can't let him loose the way they did.

Didn't look like goalie interference, just looked like Ostman didn't know where the puck was and everyone stopped playing.

Very surprised they overturned that, but hey we'll take it.

I think a lot of the issue tonight is UConn is much better than the teams Maine has played in the last six games. I’m not sure where it has gone wrong for them this year but they’re a good team.

The key part of goalie interference is the score. If Maine was up 2-0 it def counts.

I completely agree. Maine is used to playing Colgate, Dartmouth, Bentley, RIT. All slow skating teams. Maine was not used to opponents being right on top of them so quickly, like uconn is doing. Maine has had more shitty passes in this game than a mid-90’s Merrimack Lowell game.

Nope. Player in the crease without the puck contacted the goalie. He’s allowed in the crease if the puck is there, but he is not allowed to make contact (and he wasn’t pushed into Ostman). (He made contact after he no longer had possession and control). Easy call. But so was the UConn snowing the goalie and only a earning was given. There’s no warning for that. The warning was given when these guys were 10 years old.
