Much better 1st period. UConn goalie was a world jr goalie this year, got to get bodies in front of him

the harvard game was in a regional? I think I remember that game. I was at a Ground Round with my boss…a harvard grad. Back in the Doov Grommet Morris days. I could not cheer much for Maine because I wanted to keep my job.

Yeah, I believe it was in Albany.

UConn was packing everyone in after that second goal. No way they were blowing this lead tonight.

Would have been a rough weekend if they didn't pull that game out last night.

Scott go back to centering 2nd line? Whoever thinks it’s a good idea to play at 7 on Friday and then at 3 on Saturday should be shot.

Providence Bruins playing at 7:30 at XL but I totally agree..why not schedule the game in Storrs?

Apparently it is because of some kind of agreement with state of CT. Why not just play the game tomorrow? That would have made much more sense.

Maine really needs a sweep next weekend and that certainly won’t come easy.

I was there, and what a game. Frank Doyle saved the bacon. Right up there with the 93 NC game in terms of great Maine comebacks.

Outstanding performance by UConn! Unranked team shuttting out a #7 team in the country without two of their best players. Unlike last night, you just knew that Uconn would finish this game after scoring that second goal.

Unranked UConn have 2 NHL drafted goalies (Maine saw both of them) and 6 NHL drafted forwards, including a guy drafted 15 spots before B. Nadeau. Maine were missing Renwick and Arnott. Two key guys. And still outshot them 27-19. It was a tough loss, but there aren't many sweeps in Hockey Easy. Especially not on the road.
