Yes on one, no on two.

Jack Black needs to dial it back on The Brink. He's good and I like his character, but he's at a 9, I need him at a 4. Aasif Mandvi, OTOH, was amazing. And the situation room scenes stole the show for me.

I really want to see the Pakistani coup leader as a character, maybe with his staff as a sort of Veep send-up. That could be amazing.

I can't decide if this is really happening, or it's all in his imagination.

And I don't think the actor is really this one-note, but it's good to have Snafu back.

Season 2 at least got good by the end (in relative terms) but the first two episodes of 3 have literally put me to sleep. No interesting stories and all of the characters have been dumbed down.

At least Season 1 was good...

Season 1 was good. I bailed on season 2 a third of the way in; seasons 2 and 3 were terrible.

I thought last season was a little worse than the first season, but still good. This season they tried to do way too much. Way too many plot lines, and way too much of an effort to make every character a main character.

Agreed that season three of OITNB is the weakest of the series. I felt that the last season and a half is the writers going "Oh, Crap. How do we extend this beyond Piper's sentence?"

Also, with all the back stories we have been given, does anyone have any ****ing clue what Poussey is in for?

Saw the pilot of Jonathan Strange. They nailed the atmospherics, which is half the battle. I'm cautiously hopeful, and I like the casting.
