Well, I've only watched the first one. I have the second DVR'ed. I'm pretty intrigued. I also never watched the first season.

Season 1 took me a bit to get into but once it was rolling it was great. This season had me intrigued but the second episode didn't do much for me at all till the very end.

Season 2 is long and flipping slow. I am gonna wait until it is done and watch from episode 3 on cause I cant take it...its boring.

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

This season of the Bachelorette has been more depressing than a Beckett play. A typical episode: one of the guys confronts Kaitlyn and cries. Then Kaitlyn cries. Then the guy slumps off to a corner to cry. The other guys are worried, and they sniffle. Chris Harrison gives Kaitlyn awful advice about being 100% honest, so she shares her concerns with all the guys. Everyone sobs uncontrollably.

And to think they picked Kaitlyn because she seemed more fun...

A few of us tried watching "Metastasis" (the Spanish re-creation of Breaking Bad, and we're talking note-for-note). It's terrible. For those interesting in raping their senses, Netflix has it on streaming. We didn't even finish the first episode.

Walter Blanco (and Saul Bueno, according to wiki) are characters' names. Yeah.

I heard it was a literal shot for shot remake, except done in a telenovela format so it ran like two months straight. I'll probably give it a shot just to pick up some language.

It is shot for shot, lookalike (as much as they could) actors, etc. Same intro, everything. It makes no sense to me why they did it that way, instead of just dubbing BB. *shrug*

Do they do an English version of the Mariachis in season 2? Who takes Danny Trejo's spot as "Tortoise"?

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

Just watched the first two episodes of Black Mirror on Netflix. Excellent series; the closest I've seen to a similarly intense and insightful contemporary version of Twilight Zone.

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

Black Mirror is excellent. I just wish it were a regular series and not what appears to be a TV special, though British shows are known for notoriously short seasons.

There's only one bad episode, the rest range from good to great.

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

Shoot. I was really hoping the show would be awful without him for a season and they'd finally be forced to end it.

So, basically, Harry thought there was a restriction being placed upon him to not do work outside of the show when in fact that was never the case. Either he was rockin' the ganj' while reading the new contract or the producers have changed their tune in the last month or two.

Harry never got within a time zone of the contract. This is lawyer v lawyer, and Harry's agent blinked this time.

Harry Shearer, while a legendary talent, is also a bit of a miserable SOB.

Looks like Tyrant jumped the shark. I had hoped the banishing of his useless family back to LA would kill all the wife and gay kid trash plot lines, but what's left is pretty uninspiring. It should have been a one season mini-series, with more concentration on the brothers and dad. Missed opportunity; too bad.

It has been very slow since he was dropped off in the desert, the problem is they haven't gotten him back to relevance yet. They need to get Barry back into action of some kind. I'm sure his family being back in Abuddin will push things.
