Pam & Tommy.

OK, imagine.

It's even worse than you imagined.

What, not a fan of the two way conversation with an ecstasy fueled anthropomorphic pen*s?

It's glorious. It's a love letter to the mid '90s, and it takes a serious topic and give a lighthearted romp to it. I would have expected nothing less from the same people that brought I, Tonya to film.

I've heard that it seems to lose some steam later in the series, but I think the first three episodes were great.

I'm a little surprised at your take Kep. I thought you *liked* trash TV.

I lived through the 90s, I have no excuse to imagine it fondly. There's a reason my enjoyment of period movies ends in 1962.

Liking some trash doesn't mean liking all of it. Gilded Age is pure shlock and I am eating it up. P&T is just crappy tv about crappy people living in a crappy time.

Ok, Gilded Age is too, but I wasn't there so I can laugh.

Unexpectedly caught up to the end of the currently available episodes of discovery.

I thought season 3 has sucked ass so far. Closer to traditional star trek than Discovery. In a bad way. But the finally episode took a big lurch back towards Discovery. Which is good.

can't wait for new episodes in a week!

I was so wrong. Dr. Mrs. made me keep watching and it's brilliant filmmaking. And whoever the dude* is playing Tommy is legitimately hilarious.

Edit: he's some MCU guy.

That's Sebastian Stan. Only slightly interesting thing (to me) is that he speaks fluent Romanian, as he lived there until he was eight years old.

Good. I feel vindicated defending it earlier.

Sebastian Stan is one of those guys that blends into the role. He was the scummy ex-husband of Tonya Harding in I,Tonya, the Mad Hatter in ABC's Once Upon a Time, saved Matt Damon's ass in The Martian.

And had a recurring role in Gossip Girls.

Playing Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier in the MCU just made him a household name.

March - docuseries on the Prairie View A&M marching band. A nice behind the scenes look into one of the best groups in the country. It is nothing groundbreaking for the genre but getting to see the really sharp kids behind it all makes it a fulfilling watch.

I’m surprised they’re bringing it back again. Money is money, but continually reviving it, especially after how well the last finale was received, feels like pressing luck one too many times. The DiMaggio component is a little perplexing too. He’s campaigning on Twitter to be included, so it’s not like he turned it down or doesn’t want to work with them again. Unless he’s too expensive I don’t see why they would move on.

Off topic, but has anyone with YouTube TV had their location change before? All of a sudden mine thinks I’m in Chicago for live programming, so I get all their affiliates and everything is changed to the central time zone. The strange thing is any recordings I have set up are still using my real local affiliate channel. Tried resetting it last night but it wasn’t working, so I’ll try again today, but I’m confused on how it changed in the first place.

IP address. Chicago is where a LOT of ISPs in the midwest tag IPs. My work VPN runs through chicago or canada most often. The latter being extraordinarily annoying.

I had a weird geo-location problem for a few years with my streaming apps. Everything except ABC (including ABC programming on Hulu) was correctly locating me in Chicago where I live. WatchABC (and ABC programming on Hulu) thought I was in Seattle.

But.... the WatchABC app wouldn't let me live stream KOMOTV, because I was "out of market."

I recently switched my ISP from Xfinity to CenturyLink, and now all apps think I’m living near Hopkins rather than WSP when I’m connected to WiFi.
