X-MEN '97: Through two episodes, A+

This show was the gateway drug for many into the world of comics, and chasing that dragon is totally worth it. The series continues to have depth and the current writers respect what made the OG series so special for many of is. It's able to walk the line by being both accessible to someone who just discovered this a few days ago, while also giving some rather deep nods to longtime comic fans. You also have the lovely shot of general 90s nostalgia given throughout.

The other stunning thing for me here is how the current artists were able to capture the original art style and stay true to that, while at the same time, using modern animation tools/techniques to improve the look of the show. It's visually stunning and would make for an excellent port should this ever been shown on a movie screen.

If you liked the OG series back in the day, this is a must watch!

Television took The Three Body Problem, one of the most interesting science and philosophy novels, ripped all the science and philosophy out of it, and make it into Friends.

OTOH, the Nolan treatment of Fallout has a beautiful trailer and could be good.

Dammit. I was looking forward to giving that a try.
