Started watching Chernobyl, not sure if I'll make it through or not. The radiation sickness is very realistic...

It's worth watching but I'm not gonna lie it's a very tough show.

Not as tough as being there, tho.

Yeah, I remember telling some friends when I first watched it that its definitely not a show to watch if you want to have a good feeling at the end. Its rough.

After watching, it peaked my interest in similar events in history. I started reading some books:

Idaho Falls: The Untold Story of America's First Nuclear Accident (William McKeown) - The US actually had a small reactor explode in 1961 killing 3 men. Happened out in the desert of Idaho in what is now the Idaho National Laboratory. From the description of the book: From reports of a faulty reactor design and mismanagement of the reactor’s facilities to rumors of incompetent personnel and a failed love affair that prompted deliberate sabotage of the plant, these plausible explanations for the explosion raise questions about whether the truth was deliberately suppressed to protect the nuclear energy industry.

Hiroshima (John Hersey) - quick little book following a few people through the aftermath of the Hiroshima bomb

Radium Girls (Kate Moore) - excellent chronicle of what dozens of women dealt with in trying to get answers (and medical treatment and ultimately compensation) for what was happening to them after working with Radium at a few different radium dial manufacturers in the US. Radium poisoning was pretty freaking awful stuff. There is a film adaptation out there that was set to release in April 2020. It may be available on some streaming services but I was unable to locate it the last time i looked.

Midnight In Chernobyl (Adam Higginbotham) - A very in-depth look at what happened before, during, and after the accident that appears to be free from any Soviet sanitation. Higginbotham spent 10 years researching, interviewing, and writing.

Finished the Q doc on HBO Max...to think millions of people fell for a LARP propagated by a dude who needs secondhand sex dolls and massage parlors just to get off. CodeMonkey should be extradited to the States and sent to FPMIA Prison for life...

The funny thing is, people were calling him out as Q long before he made it obvious. (as the doc hints at) Hell ParlerTakes was talking about it back when I first started following him. Those Red Pill losers fell for what was essentially a long form viral marketing campaign for 8chan/8kun and turned it into a religion. The drunk Jesus freak (and his air force buddy) and the former gossip columnist being my favorite of the dumbfucks who fell hard for it.

A lot of the stuff covered I was seeing in almost real time on Twitter. The parts with Fred especially. His fleeing the Philippines was a story I read like the day he landed in LA. I found it interesting how the leader of Anonymous (supposedly) not only predicted what would happen if this wasn't shut down but really was trying to destroy Q and the Watkins losers before the election.

Is "United States of Al" a real show on CBS or some fake commercial for a fake show they're doing as a Kaufmanesque bit?

Tucker Carlson went full Nazi on the air the other night...defending "White Replacement Theory".

OK I’m going to need a little more information.

Hartnet was from Minneapolis. I think he was popular with the ladies even long before he started getting even small roles in Hollywood because I have a friend who has also been able to say this.
