Did anyone watch Feud: Truman Capote vs The Swans last night? I recorded the first two episodes. Looking forward to watching it. I know nothing about what it's about but it seems interesting. Ryan Murphy's previous season of Feud was excellent. I hope this is as good.

I recorded it. Haven't watched it yet. I was lucky enough to get the Director's Cut of episode 1 recorded. Appears to have an extra 10 minutes or so.

The fitness center in my apartment complex had First Take on this morning and I started praying for the Spirit of Tom Mees to rise and smite ESPN.

It's supposed to be pretty good, but I didn't see it.

Truman Capote ingratiated himself into a small group of high society women in NYC back in the 1960's, I believe. He got invited to all of their little parties, and they pretty much confided a lot of dirt to him. He called these women "the swans."

I think his plan was to ultimately write a book about them. He started working on it, and a couple of chapters were published in maybe the New Yorker or Vanity Fair or something, and needless to say the women were not amused.

I think that's what this series is supposed to be about, but honestly I don't really know what happened, in the end.

This sounds interesting, what is it on?

TIL Dasha Nekrasova from Succession co-founded the Red Scare podcast. That is... that is very weird.

End of an era - Sam Waterston leaving Law & Order

I was thrilled when it was announced Sam was returning as the legendary Jack McCoy when the series was rebooted. This year he was only in a scene or two - most likely due to the fact that he's in his early 80s. Tony Goldwyn is replacing him, and no disrespect to him but they should have brought back Linus Roache (Mike Cutter), Richard L Brooks (Paul Robinette) or Carey Lowell (Jamie Ross) to keep with the continuity from the original series. The reboot is nowhere near as good as it was - the writing is horrible. But I'm am L&O diehard and I will watch it till it's over.

Robinette would be awesome...but that character hates Whitey ;^)

I can't believe Waterston is leaving I thougIt he would die first!

Bodies on Netflix gets a solid B+. Nothing super original as a time-travel mystery, but it's well-executed and acted. 6 episodes to set up the whole loop over the 4 time periods, slowly interweaving them together. Penultimate episode clarifies the loop from the antagonist's standpoint, and climax is predictable but satisfying.

Gina Carano sues The Mouse for wrongful termination with funding from Elmo.

I'm sure she'd have more success nailing Jello to a tree, but if she wants to..

For anyone on the “bill Maher sounds better!” Train

bill says he did a two hour interview with Kanye but won’t air it, because he spent the time attacking Israel and Jews and saying they’re the worst people on earth.

So my wife started watching Chicago Fire on Peacock to kill time. I've watched a few episodes and it's good for what it is.

What irks me most when watching, and maybe its a touch of the 'tism, but the disparity of the call out on-scene locations sometimes egregiously not matching their filming location gives me an aneurysm.

"600 North Dearborn" - Oh good they're in the financial district.... wait, that's the abandoned area under I-55 at Ashland.

"1200 18th St" - Oh, they're gonna be in the Pilen neighborhood... why are they back under I-55 at Ashland?

"5700 Woodlawn" - Oooh Hyde Park near the Museum of Science and Industry... WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY COMPLETELY THE WRONG DIRECTION NEAR THE EDENS EXPRESSWAY???

Is it this bad when people in other metros watch shows based in areas they live/work closely?
