Watched the first episodes of Strange Planet on AppleTV+. My wife and I are big fans of Nathan W Pyle so we were looking forward to seeing it. It’s light and silly, just like it should be.
 
As happened to me with Killing Eve Season 4, The Witcher season two is not as bad as the first few episodes indicated. I saw a season 3 come out and decided to give it another go.

KE S4 was terrible in the beginning, terrible in the end, and okay in the middle. Basically, human life.
 
Who Were We Running From? - Netflix (Turkish). A mother and daughter are on the run moving from one lavish hotel to the next as their seekers close in at each stop along the way. This ran in a crisp 7 episodes and although nothing here breaks new ground, I thought the dialogue and cinematography were on point, and the chosen actors perfect for their roles. It could have used a bit more clever to shore up some minor plot holes, but it drew me in from the start and delivered to the end.

The middle of the season was good. Not great, but good. A post mortem reading of the making of the series indicates that they should have stopped after season 1 cause everyone on the show used it as a stepping stone to do other things.

I'll buy that. The beginning was bad and the end was execrable.

I would tell all these producers, "just say no to the dough."
