S2 of The Bear continues to get better with Eps 5-7 providing a sort of Amen Corner to the season. 5 was poignant, revealing and emotional, 6 was a return to the frenetic pacing if S1 that punches you square in the gut, and 7 was a masterpiece of dialogue and human interaction.

Yeah I think 7 is my fave

Guest stars were perfect. My sister texted me 15 minutes in about her blood pressure

I never experienced a family gathering like that and it still gave me sooo much anxiety.

I'm on episode 8 now and I can easily say this show has been one of the best things I've ever seen.

The acting, the dialogue, the pacing, the character growth/arcs, the music, etc., all of it has been amazing and damn near perfect.

And the anxiety is right back up to 11 on the final episode.

And once Spiders (Kidsmoke) by Wilco started it somehow went to another level. (Same song that played during that chaotic scene in S1E7). Then the drop into Pearl Jam's Animal was just perfect.

Whoa boy. That ending though. I'd say a 3rd season is a sure thing. But I hope it's the last. I worry much more and it will start to go downhill and I'd hate to see that.

Blacklist coming to an end. Last night they finally revealed who Red's pilot is and it was probably one of the best cameo's done in a TV show of all time.

I am not a huge fan of what they have setup so far for the last episode. Reminds me of Homeland. I hated the ending but the epilogue made up for it enough to make me happy. Figuring this may end the same way.

The Wham! documentary is great, and we should all have a friend as loyal and good as Andrew Ridgeley.

This times a million. The documentary itself was fantastic. I loved how there was no narrator, it was just audio clips of both Andrew and George. It amazed me that they had footage from them so early in their career - footage you wouldn't expect like getting into vans to travel, etc. It's almost like someone knew they were going to be big and wanted to capture them. I wanted more info on Andrew's mom and her scrapbooks. At the end when Andrew said he knew George was destined for greater things and stepped aside - it blew me away. And the scene where George's father said how he didn't want George to pursue a music career, and then went to one of their shows and said how proud he was of him? Well, the tears came. I really enjoyed the documentary. George's death was so sad for me. I never saw Wham in concert but I saw George multiple times.

Skip season 2. Season 3 wasn't bad. Way better than 2. Not as good as 1. I'm cautiously optimistic for season 4.

Season 3 was not worth it by the end. It had a ton of potential but...blah. It is quite apparent that season 1 was a fluke.

Season 1 though is an all-timer though but part of that was the cast was picked perfect for the parts they play. Anyone else playing McConaughey's part would have sounded ridiculous. He made it sound awesome!

Emmy noms came out today. Nothing too surprising. But with SAG-AFTRA set to join the WGA in going on strike, I'm glad I made the call to go to Greece in September and not plan to go to LA for the Emmys. I am not sure it will even happen. The awards ceremony I mean.
