Travel 4: All Around the World Same Song

With the absence of pictures, I will strongly recommend whale watching if you visit Isafjorda in the summer. So very many hump back whales.

So standing almost directly under bridal veil falls was an absolute experience. I have been less wet while swimming.

Waiting to board our flight back from Seoul. We were only there for 5 days and couldn't possibly come close to seeing everything we wanted, but what we did experience was well worth it. It's a fantastic city with a lot of chill markets, historical grounds, so many food options, extremely friendly people, etc.

We were also very impressed while witnessing the younger converse in Korean. We didn't realize how advanced he is with it.

This is a place we'll definitely go back to if given the chance.

Unexpected thing to do in Iceland- camping. Seems that every other home has a camper. And there appears to be many places to rent campers- so maybe another trip is in order.

So just wanted to make a quick cruise comment- we’ve done Alaska cruises before, but we find this Iceland - Greenland cruise a LOT better. And we will have one more stop in Greenland. If you were curious.

Indeed (though none of Mookie’s speak it). Mookie went without even knowing how to say yes, no, please, thank you. His English of those worked just fine. Metro zips you wherever you want. Cabs are not crazy expensive like here. Only complaint was thing close sorta early, but that is compared to Bangkok. Even NYC is no longer the city that never sleeps.

St. John and Halifax were great. We had 8 days of perfect weather. Even Boston was beautiful.

Nova Scotia is what you get when you had perfect demographic immigration.

Where did you sail out of? What cruise line, what were the stops?

Thanks, I saw that ship on the news as it stopped in Eastport. I hope you didn't get off :) I think it normally would have stopped in Bar Harbor(acadia) but they put a limit on cruise passengers per day. Too many people in DownTown area as it is.

I went on land for about an hour, taking pictures of your pretty buildings. I didn't go downtown and I didn't personally contribute anything to the Maine economy. Then I went back on board, got drunk, and watched Back to the Future in a hot tub. It still holds up. Lorraine was hot; Marty should have hit it and never looked back.

Too bad you can’t to bar harbor anymore, really enjoyed stopping there.

I live about 120 miles west of Eastport, place used to be a thriving community. Sardine plants ruled. Now its like a lot of other places in Maine, ghost town where the average age of the citizens is over 60. You should have gotten some Rayes Mustard while you were there though. The last thing related to the Sardine industry still going. They grind the mustard on granite wheels. Its good stuff. I do have a customer down there or used to anyway. Haven't been there in a few years which is fine by me.
