Forecast here in Allentown was 4-8". We got 3-4". Yet another overblown storm.
Roads were mostly cleared at 7AM. Highways were fine.

I heard a couple of good claps of thunder earlier this morning but it was snowing too heavy to see any lightning. The weather guy showed several strikes on his tracker.Thundersnow in Mass.
It looks like it stopped here even though I saw on the news earlier that it would snowing till about 9pm. I wonder if we're going to get more bands of snow throughout the afternoon and early evening. I'm going to venture outside to see how well the plow did in my parking lot to see if I need to clean out my spot any more. My car is in a garage across the street and I don't want to go get it if I'm going to have shovel it out again later.

I don't really consider the snow on the peaks of mountains/volcanos "snow cover", though I suppose it technically is. As far as I'm concerned, snow cover is something you have to plow.Mauna Kea
