It is so cold here, an engineer that I have been working with brought in a jug of slushy anti-freeze.

Wet and icy here in SE Michigan, main roads were wet, but not really icy. Just need to be careful out in the parking lots and anywhere else that they haven't salted yet.

I don't have any luck at Logan. Usually one leg of my flight gets screwed up. Fog has been a primary cause and broken airplanes the other. Manchester and Providence, no problems.
That plane must have had lots of extra fuel!

The low for Duluth tonight is -29. That's downright balmy compared to what it's going to be away from the water tonight. Good lord.

This is what happens when -26*F air moves over Lake Superior... Pics were taken just south of Grand Marais, MN... That day warmed up to a toasty 11*F at Lutsen Mountain however... Nothing like the -28*F day I woke up to while racing at Giants Ridge though... That high was -8*F

About 6 inches in NYC overnight. Accuweather is reporting that another doozy of a Noreaster could be coming our way next week, bringing more white stuff up the coast.

Last night it was about -10. The social lepers that some of us are, smokers, were outside last night with no jackets while we had our cancer sticks. Some girl from CA came up to us, and I quote, "The stories I heard about Minnesotans are true. Cold weather doesn't bother you! You *ers are nuts!"

I'm at the point now where a long sleeve shirt is sufficient for me down to about 0, after then I have to throw on a sweatshirt or light jacket.You wimps.
