Congratulations to Sgt. Chesty XIII who will retire tomorrow from an illustrious USMC career.

Looks like the US is ready to strike at Syria, I realize Assad is probably insane but why would he lob chemical weapons when he knows he is under the microscope

Because he fears collapse of his regime more than he does tongue clucking from the West. And he fears some minor Clintonian cruise missile strikes even less.

Why would Saddam? And how was he able to sneak out everything?

So you're saying we should invade?

No. As a self-proclaimed expert, I would have thought you'd realize there were options between "pin pr*ck" and "invasion." What was it that prompted you to ask such a tendentious, ignorant question? Your special "life experiences" that confer "understanding?"

I love that you're so ticked off about me saying we'd had different life experiences. Just curious...Do you think we've had the same life experiences?

I love that you think the issue is whether we have different life experiences. Rather than the assertion that your life experiences give you "understanding" the rest of us lack. Dot with a circle around it.

For a supposed rugged individualist you sure are sensitive. It's like if Grizzly Adams broke a nail and started crying.

So anyway, missile strikes are too soft and an invasion is too hard...which bed would be juuuuuust right, Goldilocks?

You aren't interested in discussing this matter or any other seriously. What you're interested in is impressing everyone who posts here what a clever boots you are. Oh, and your moral superiority, based on those double secret "life experiences." I think most of us know the truth of the matter.

Why entertain it?

With all the fire power he has from Russia and Iran he wipe those folks out without chemical weapons and no one is going to say a word

Dick Cheney, that's how.

Sweet, war with Syria. Main drum beater John McCain has stated this morning that there will be no "boots on the ground". Yeah, just wait.

Bingo!

So we overthrow Assad. Who is the replacement? Sometimes the devil you know is better than the devil you don't know.

Alright, I'll do it since no one else wants the job.

"We practice selective annihilation of mayors and government officials, for example, to create a vacuum. Then, we fill that vacuum. As popular war advances, peace is closer."
