Well that will be in my head for three days

Sweet Jesus an NHL official actually called someone for being the third man in. It being on Dion Phaneuf makes me smile.

Holy crap did it cost them, 6-1 Hawks at the end of two.

Maybe if he had taken the helmet and visor off after instigating the fight, they would have been more understanding.

I like how Phaneuf ripped Seabrook's helmet off during the fight, and Seabrook doesn't wear a visor.

Tough break for both players, that hit happens all the time, too bad it resulted in Dorsett getting hurt. Pretty scary the way he went down.

As much as I hate to say it, I think melrose was right in saying that stamkos needed another year to develop. That goal out of mid air while on the ice was pretty amazing. Pure goal scoring talent.

He's been awesome since about halfway through last season, and he's only getting better now. That's going to help Lecavalier out a ton.

I believe they showed a graphic last night that said he leads the NHL in goals since mid-February of last season (maybe since the day he scored the hat trick against Chicago). 30 goals, just ahead of Rick Nash.

I think Melrose playing him 4 minutes a night on the 4th line may have been what hurt him a bit in the beginning of last season more so than not being ready to play with the big boys.

Two game suspension for Neal for this hit.

Goons on the ice* = Goons off the ice

Heck of a game by the Bruins last night. Bergeron gets the OT winner in Buffalo. They have earned points in 6 of their last 7 games and probably should have had two extra points during that stretch. Lucic had a goal last night!

Re: The 2009-10 NHL regular season thread: Slightly less meaningless hockey

I actually think all 7 were B's fans.

Can we move the Thrashers north please? Anywhere is fine.

I'd just like to point out that the Thrashers are not operating at a financial loss.

Is that using the same fuzzy math that claimed 12,112 were at that B's game?
