Hah! Notice I said "high level" LEED ... Perhaps I should have been more explicit, but I meant Platinum (or at least Gold). I couldn't find a level mentioned for the Bowdoin arena, so I assume it's the lowest. Cool nonetheless, but I think RIT has stated that no building would be built on campus that doesn't meet those minimum requirements. If I'm not mistaken, the new USC at RIT is the only LEED-Platinum building on a college campus (or at least was the first) ... that's the kind of stuff I was talking about.
Regardless, good for Bowdoin ... we'll have to shoot for the first LEED-Platinum ice arena (which, as I said, might not be feasible).
