Funny. My neighbor also had a van when he was in high school. I was in second or third grade. I used to go over to his house and shoot hoops with him while listening to music from his van. One day I went to his van to switch the eight track. I found a box that read "Trojan". I had mo clue what it was. I thought it was some type of candy.

One day while at the store I loudly asked my mom (who was at the other end of the aisle from me) to get me a box of Trojans. She was pizzed off and I was as innocent and pure as possible and I couldn't figure out what was going on. Priceless. :)

Finding out your sewer lateral is either partially frozen or clogged, F'. Finding out that at some point it backed up into the wet bar sink in the finished half of the basement and overflowed onto the carpet double F'. I had my sewer lateral cleaned out right after I bought my house due to tree roots but those havent been a problem since so Im not sure if i should call and complain to the city or call a sewer cleaner tmw morning.

Found out the woman has influenza. The real sh*, not just the "flu." It hit her on Monday, doctor confirmed it today. Hope it doesn't hit me *fingerscrossed* despite my awesome "not being sick" track record.

Did you get the vaccine?

If not... if you start to feel anything talk to your doc about Tamiflu. It works but must be started in the first 24-48 hours of symptoms.

Good luck.

They don't recommend Tamiflu unless you are at risk with other medical conditions. Hope it stays away!

Trust your immune system, my brotha from anotha motha!!!! The only thing that has made a dent in mine in the last 8 years is my recent losing battle with food poisoning, which, I don't even think I can blame on my immune system...

I did not, and was already given the lecture from the woman. :p

bbdl: food poisoning doesn't count. I've had that in the last couple years too (the SCSU trip I missed, when you all stayed at that crappy motel). Anything I may or may not have caught in the last....I dunno, 5-6 years or so has been a runny nose, and that's about it.
