S'upp y'all
.....There are some Asians in Edina, mostly adopted children, but still mostly WASP community.

Few things in life suck as much as seeing a cute little a-girl and getting all set to search out her yummie mummie..... Then seeing an old crew cut white mom!! (Or MOMS!!! :( )

Ugh!!! It's almost to the pout where unless you spot a boy it's not even worth it...

Bring it.

edit: But seriously, you really think in the last 15 years, including years in high school and college and going to work, that I haven't encountered strains my body hasn't seen before? There are many new strains every year, and its not like I sit at home and avoid human contact. I have said it before, due to my experiences growing up, and still more recently, I have built up my immune system, so I am confident that I will be fine. I still get colds, but I get them half as long as half as severe as other people around me. I fight them off faster and more efficiently. It is because my body has been continually exposed to more bugs and germs throughout my life. I grew up on the farm around animals, and around ****. Hands don't get washed when you're out in the field and you don't have water, you live with it. This is why I hate hand sanitizers, the prevent people from getting exposed to less harmful germs. We're creating people that are dependant on drugs to stay healthy, and get sick whenever they encounter any germ, I don't want that.

I see someone is channeling George Carlin's "We were tempered in liquid ****!" monologue.

Had the USA game streaming in the background of my computer at work, until it decided to crap out saying I need to update my flash player. Ok fine, trying to update my flash player stupid IT security wont let me update it. Given the fact that I got it to stream Im impressed.

Yo. Last day on the boat. Getting off sometime before 0600, flying out of HOU at 0800, Landing in TPA at 11, hopefully home by noon to crack a cold beer or 5 and watch the US Women beat Canada.

I fist pumped big on Brown's goal; what a great look from Backes. Luckiky, prof was writing on the board. It was just test review today anyways.

If the prof caught you, you could have simply said "THIS LESSON'S EXCITING!"

Still not sick. :D The woman is sounding better, though. Supposed to have dinner with my parents on Sat at TK's, then woman and I planned to hang out afterwards. The latter is prob not the best idea right now, but we'll see how the rest of the week goes.

Other than that, getting ready for the Snowpocalypse that is supposed to happen tonight/tomorrow.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #172: Did you see your shadow?

So the boy's JV season ended last weekend and he had a solid year. Certainly not the leading scorer on the team, but easily led the team in hits and faceoff wins - you know, some other important stuff. Oh yeah and other than the goalie, he's the smallest kid on the team.

The best compliments were the number of times that we overheard people in the stands saying "Who's number 3?" and the tone of that question would often be determinant upon which team's fans were asking. Regardless, I always took it as a compliment as he didn't have really many (any?) elbowing or boarding type penalties. People were noticing him though. He was a pest and a wrecking ball.

Anyway, turns out he is one of two JV players that has been asked to join varsity for the playoffs. Probably won't suit up for games or if he does won't get much (any) time, but he's pretty jacked anyway. A freshman hopping over numerous other sophomore & junior JV players to join the #2 team in the state for the playoff run. Pretty cool.

He earned it with his consistent effort over the season. It's a nice next step for him.

Proud.

Hope it's a decent run.
