Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Damm early flights.

Is anyone else planning on coming over friday night? I'm trying to decide if I need to go pick anything up at the store when I get back into town.

Good morning, Lodge!

Lots of cookies to bake today; who wants chocolate chip?

Good Morning, MEUSA! :)

Good Morning to the rest of tLodge! :)

Mornin' everybody! Drove by the rink on the way to work and the guys were loading the bus to the airport for their trip out East to play RPI! I'm ready for some hockey that counts! NHL tonight and college tomorrow!:D

Morning.

The weekend is finally in sight!

Finally I found a way I can help charities by doing something I do anyways, playing video games. If any of you want to help support Gillette Childrens Speciality Hospital check out my donation page. Thanks! :)

Good luck to them (sorry Ralph).Yeah hockey!

bbdl - don't get anything unless YOU need it. Tell anybody who is coming to bring something - you're furnishing the fire and place to have it, it's enough.

Got a contact for possible work from one of the shows I did last month. Hope it pans out after all that driving, standing and talking I did for three weeks.

You haven't met my mother. She is known for having way too much food when people come over. :)

Howdy gang. Bruins raise their banner tonight! Looking forward to watching that. Stuff to do today. I should probably start it.

No, I haven't, when are you going to invite me to meet her? ;) But we are like that too. I'm just saying bb_dl doesn't have to be like that for a caual bonfire when he's been traveling all week.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

So I got to NOLA last night and found out, oops, your bags didn't make the 45 minute layover, and are still at DC. First flight in the morning gets in at 10am, they will be here then. Ok, I can deal with that, I'll just go to Walmart/Kmart and get stuff to sleep tonight.

Well, first flight in this am got cancelled, my captain should be on the ground here, and we are supposed to go to the boat. Can't wait for USeless Airways to ask what address they can ship the bags to.... uhhhhh send it to mile 134 on the tenn-tom river up above Mobile...

Should make for an interesting morning.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I'm still in Nashville. Flight was delayed, in fact its still sitting at the gate 2 hours later. Lucky for me I had a tight connection so US Airways put me on a direct Delta flight leaving at 10:30. So I had to sit at the airport for a couple extra hours, but I avoided flying through Philadelphia (holy crap, my phone is too smart. It recommended "Philadelphia" after I typed "through" before I even started typing the word), so I get to avoid extra time crammed on a plane and I get miles now.

Edit: I'm guessing my US Airways issues are the same as HP1015's. The lady at the podium said their entire computer system was down. Flights delayed and cancelled...

Working on my performance review draft for FY2011. What a completely obnoxious year I've had!

Good to hear goldy! since you're an old geezer you probably remember 1954 and want the Mavs to spank RPI...am I right?;)

I am an old geezer, but my memory of that one is a little foggy. I just like to see WCHA teams do well - except for the Sue and BADgers. :p
