I think the lady to your left had no clue what to make of the Commie and I.
That was Candace - pretty sure she's written game recaps for this site, actually.

Good to know you were amused, diva. See, I'm not always a zombie. :p

I knew that, just didn't know if she wants to be known as someone who hangs around us. :p

You say that like it's a bad thing. :D

GE - given what I was saying on Friday night, I think I agree with you. One of the funniest moments was when I said something horrible, Brent only picked up one or two words of the entire sentence, and was able to surmise what the rest of it was based on that. :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Had some mashed potatoes and gravy for dinner... never been that excited for them before. Finally something other than vanilla pudding and apple sauce. Hopefully I can be back to semi-normal food here by the end of the weekend.

I lived on scrambled eggs and Blizzards (in December) for almost a week when I had my wisdom teeth removed my second year at UND. I also had to switch from the Percocet to regular Advil fairly soon, since I had to wait 72 hours between taking the Percocet and flying.

Turkey and stuffing for dinner tonight.

Laundry and housecleaning on the schedule for tonight, since there is no baseball. Maybe tonight I can get to bed at a halfway reasonable hour and get something that resembles sleep.
Nice! I had a turkey and Swiss sandwich.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have only one thing to say in regards to this upcoming weekend. It's one word. A six-letter word. More specifically, it's a name of a sporting event. Repeated multiple times in jubilation.

HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY

That's why I don't come in here -- too many difficult questions.

Good to see all of the familiar avatars. But seeing Bob's tagline makes me want to buy him a sandwich or something so he won't be so strung out.
Even if I wasn't strung out, I would appreciate a sandwich. After all, I am carbo-loading for the Chicago Marathon...
