Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Took Cabela hiking with me & the boy this evening. She ended up covered in deer entrails. I'm going to be sick.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

A retriever found a gut dump and rolled in it, what's weird about that?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

So I've been relaxing most of the day since the surgery. Mouth is a little sore/painful, but overall it isn't too bad so far. I have 40 vicodin and another 40 ibuprofen 800's, so I'm pretty set in the painkiller department. Bleeding appears to have slowed down almost to nothing or maybe even stopped last time I went to spit in the sink.

Hopefully the pain is gone by Friday morning when I go to NYC for Detroit @ Yankees.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

The ibuprofens.....basically Tylenol 3's? If so: good job outta you (c).

Two more days. JFC, 4 days off of work plus the weekend, and things are completely changed, yet remain the same. Our offsite location has added MORE stuff to its inventory, so now it has become a full-on 2.5-3 person job, instead of a 1.5-2. Good for me, I suppose, as I am anchored at this point. However, still working those 10-11 hour days, despite hiring 3 more people.

Oh well, I try to see the bright side, and that is more road trips, and more fun.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Nah, those are just 800mg of ibuprofen, no codeine or anything extra as far as I can tell.

The Vicodins are 5/500's for hydrocodon/acetaminophen. Nomnomnom

I said my piece on Vike's. ;)

But, get better. And if you wanna real fun time, have a beer after taking your meds. :D

Another day in houghton down. 5 hours of sleep and then back to interviewing for 10 hours. Then...pitchers and wings at the glorious establishment known as the Downtowner Lounge. We had a bet with Chrysler tonight who could stay at the bar the longest. ****ing pansies left at 11:30. **** amateurs.

1. DT? Jealous.
2. Way to represent! 11:30? Crap, that's barely pre-game for a night out!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! thursday is not friday

I have an official teenager now. Sullen and knows everything. Has done for the whole week (usually these fits of insolence last a few hours). Remind me again why the human race has an average lifespan of 70+ yrs... NO idea what the problem is. Ran a meet yesterday and did well. Just grumpy as hell, all the time, about anything.

Hahaha, I haven't been too impressed by the vikes really, I mean it takes the pain away and whatnot, but I don't seem to be to loopy/doped out.

Beer with meds might be happening this weekend with playoff baseball. We'll see if I want to push my luck.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Woke up this morning to sharp pains behind my eye, sensitivity to light and sound, and sick to my stomach. Migraines are just the habit I wanted to pick up. You know, since I quit smoking almost two months ago.

Good morning Lodge.

Once again, I walk into work, and the co-workers make me want to go ape.
