F hockey. Gimme a drink. Make it a quad.

I remember when Key's was in Crystal (where it got its start). They wanted to "franchise" out, and the Crystal location bought out and renamed it "DD's Cafe." I think DD's relocated to Blaine. Same food, but yes, very awesome. Their omelettes put most other restaurants to shame.

bbdl: How about a Breaking Bad marathon, Sipper Saturday, then hit a local (to you) bar?
Sounds like a great idea. I might need more seating, maybe I'll clean up the couch in the garage and haul it in here.

Fade, is there ever a good week to quit drinking? During a tech hockey season, that is.

Lemme know. I'm up for something next Sat anyway, and I think BPH said he would be in.

Plan on it for now. I don't know if anyone else would be in, but I know that I definitely am. Will I need to get internet hooked up in order for you to get breaking bad up on the tv?

Nope. Have Season 3 on hard drive (torrent; HD). I also have the HDMI cable that you need to hook the comp up to the tv (thanks to ShirtlessGuy).

Re: Rep Lodge 125: The Thanksgiving Dinner Version: Gimme Some More...

is the Foshay a decent choice for hotel? (W - starwood :D)

Re: Rep Lodge 125: The Thanksgiving Dinner Version: Gimme Some More...

Yer kidding right? That might be the nicest, most expensive hotel in the state.

no. serious.

i've only been in the airport for a connection when it comes to the entire state of MN. i am unable to stay in st paul because all the hotels are booked. i'm left to use my starpoints to find someplace, probably in minneapolis.

choices are the W-Foshay, Hotel Ivy, Le Meridien, Westin Minneapolis.

westin has a pool.
Ivy a decent looking spa where i can relax and sweat & rub out the alcohol between breakfast and hockey :p
Foshay seems nice.

so i'm asking. y'all live there and know.

There are worse hotels in the Twin Cities.....just about all of them. Added bonus of Manny's being there too.

I'd go Foshay......it's a great old building and it's right in the heart of downtown. IIRC corectly Ivy is further down Nicollet Mall toward the Hyatt?

Westin is also quality, but if you get a huge discount, might as well go really big.
And Scarlet, if I could, I'd personally deliver them myself. I also need alcohol. We could go on a huge bender tonight and singlehandedly get us out of this recession.
