Tech got swept, there is open dissent within the team (a freshman just quit, allegedly over a benching,) Russell's seat is starting to warm up, Lions lost in excruciating fashion once again.

Got the Christmas tree yesterday because it was the only day we could go cut it that both Mr. and Lil would be home. Yikes. Lil is way too busy. I have way too many things to do for him to be this busy. Just sayin'.

Yesterday, I took the on-line placement exam for the German course that I want to take at the Goethe Institut, here in DC, after I retire. After I attempted to answer the 70 multiple choice questions, there was an essay question asking where and how much one has studied German before and why one wants to take a course. Wanting to do it correctly, I brought up the Character Map to get all of the umlauted letters. Somehow when I wanted to press CTRL-V to paste, I hit whatever CTRL character causes the window to close causing me to have to start over again. :mad:

I scored 39 out of 70 which probably puts me in the Intermediate course level as expected. I have forgotten a lot since I studied German as an freshman and sophomore from 1964 to 1966 although I have been using it for genealogy for many years.

Got a wonderful storm going on right now, major roads closed due to accidents and snow squalls , schools are all closed, guess I should go get my snow tires put on :)

Big test in 15 minutes, final tomorrow that should be pretty easy, and then 3 tests (1 final, 2 USCG qualifiers) Thursday. Yikes.
