Mmmm, shower beer. Shoveled some snow off the rink and was all sweated up so needed another shower (took one after snow blowing the drive and rink this AM - ice was so rough had to go scrape some more snow off). I have been unable to drink beer for months as I am sensitive to gluten lately but I have found some gluten free beers and had a cold one with my shower - nice, though a little sweet for my taste (it's brewed from sorghum instead of barley).

Dropping the kid off at practice then going to another hockey family's housewarming. Hopefully I can miss watching the Gophers play more crap hockey.

I'm a glutton for punish as I'm getting ready to head over to Conte Forum. You can all watch as the game is on CBSCS again tonight. I call dibs on my same seat at the * hockey table. Get my martinis ready!!

Bud makes a decent gluten free beer, which surprised me. I have a few other Gluten free that were good also, the best being Bards and another ok one was Grist made in Milwaukee

Semi-productive day. Booked my flight to the Springs, then headed over to the parents' to watch Inglourious Basterds with them (unless it's super mainstream blockbuster, they probably haven't seen it; I'm kind of their lifeline to good movies ;)). They liked it.

Now settling in with some Ommegang Abbey Ale and getting ready to decide which hockey table I'll be sitting at later on.

Outdoor hockey, followed by a 4 hour nap, followed by more hockey. Good day, all in all. If I didn't a have a cold it would be an awesome day.

The Adrian game at Michigan Stadium was awesome. I don't think they got the attendance right, but that was an amazing experience.

I ended up working on the stairs this afternoon. I had to finish up the top transition piece and stain them. Tomorrow I'm going to try to get some polyurethane on them.

In other news a fire truck just drove by at 5 mph, sirens and horns blaring, with christmas lights all over it and santa Claus sitting on top waving at nothingness. W.t.f.

If anyone in the msp area is interested in doing somethig tonight, either going out or just staying in and doing nothing, let me know.

You shoulda texted me about an hour ago. I was up in Crystal, which is a little closer for a drive to your place.

And btw, my flight leaves for Denver at 11:42 on that Friday. When's yours?

There isn't much to do here anyway, though it would be nice to go out up here sometime so I don't always drive forever to go out. Oh well, i'll probably sit home tonight.

Oh, I'm leaving Thursday instead of Friday. Wanted to be able to have an idea where stuff is on the strip before NYE.

Ah. I tried to take Thu off to leave then, but too many people had it off. At least I'm not leaving at 6am, though. That would have been rather unpleasant. Still getting back at midnight on Sun, though, so I think I'm gonna try and take that Mon off.

Actually, when we take you guys to Gasthof's for Das Boots and polka, extra cars could be handy. Or we just all cab it. :D

Ordering L'il's Xmas stuff. Sports Authority- give yr email, get 10% off. No notice anywhere there are exclusions. search the site because I am not getting discount thru portal~ Maybe they sell socks that qualify but I doubt it. Over 100 exclusions for brands then exclusions for all exercise, camping and a whole paragraph of categories. BIG rip off. :mad:
