A bunch of us dressed in blue & gold waited outside the locker room prior to the start of the last period and cheered the guys on. It was awesome.

I went and stood behind the Union net for that last period. When the twine moved, that was even more awsome!

Wow! I can 't believe it... what a game!

Wow! was wondering why no final listed for this game. ESPN just mentioned the final and the longest college game ever. Epic!

Unreal. Words cannot express how I feel right now. If I feel this bad, I can't imagine what our players feel like. One of the most (if not the most) painful loss in my life as a sports fan. I'm happy to say I witness history (got there at 6:00 PM and left at 1:00 AM), but this end result is just the most miserable thing.

A lot of students left the game early, but by the end of the game everyone had returned and then some...there wasn't a seat left in the student section. I'm exhausted...goin to bed. Should be another hard fought game tonight.

Oh yeah...congrats on the win.

I just have to laugh. When I looked at the score thread and saw five overtimes, I kind of knew you would win it. Too bad it wasn't a shorthanded goal, though.

Ya know, I didnt start listening til about the second period because of a game I had coaching fifth grade basketball. I then proceeded to sit by my chincy little radio from about 730 to 1. It was awesome. Thanks for the on scene reporting Mark. Get em tonight.

After your long string of wins and your long string of losses, the Bobcats rebounded well. And now to cap it off by saving the best for last - what a great win!

Also shows that having a bye isn't everything as 3 of the top 4 teams lost. Always thought that was superstitious anyway.

Wow! I still can't believe it. Incredible experience to say the least.

On to tonight... does anyone have anything left? From an emotional point of view I'd guess we have a distinct advantage with momentum. We're still going to need to gut it out because Union is a very good and dangerous team. We'll need a complete effort for sure.

Eagle, We gots to have a little chat. You have failed miserably in your job, period. From the number of posts in any QU thread it's clear that you "run the place." Therefore, it has been incumbent upon you to essplain to Coach Pecknold and all the other Katzeseses that the meeting between the Q and Union is a best of three series meant to be played over the course of two or three days time, not all at once.

Hey, I like a little "bang for my buck" when some overtime hockey is involved. But one of the Katz defenseman started the game weighing 188 pounds and is now down to a buck and a quarter. Kid's gonna evaporate into thin air by the second period tonight. I'd suggest a little Gatorade and a long nap for everyone before today's game.

I was in Lake Placid for the multi-OT NCAA title game when Bowling Green won its only championship. Those long OT games are fun. Good luck to your boys tonight.:)

Denver beat Tech 2-1 last night in a contest which might have been 4-1 or 5-1 had Robinson not made 38 saves for Tech. I hope the Pioneers get the sweep.
