Playoff Results 2021

So Northeastern. Pretty good at hockey.

Despite being outplayed, Kirk kept RMU in for two periods. An unfortunate call at the end of the second (depending on who you are cheering for), and then RMU ran out of gas in the third.

Good effort by the Colonials, but the Huskies sure made them pay for any mistakes in transition, as Robert pointed out.

Edit: so much for Barney’s bracket

The NCAA does its typical crappy job of having any kind of atmosphere at this. You would have virtually no idea the Elite 8 were playing. They should keep it a big venues where you might get some fans who were not parents. Boston etc.

I'd hate to give teams repeated advantages but this tournament should really alternate between Boston and Minneapolis.

So what's the deal, did the zamboni throw out too much water or is the refrigeration not working 100% that they have to squeegee the standing water off?

Why review that, and then, why talk about it forever after the review? I like Fargo, but come on, don't waste everyone's time on something so clear cut.

Why didn't they notice the water BEFORE they dropped the puck to start the period?

I remember, after a FF somewhere, seeing a post game interview with Mark Johnson, and he was saying "Next time we come to such-and-such, I'm bringing our ice guy with us." Could have been Erie in 2011. (I wonder how hard it would be to find...)

Too many individual Bulldogs trying to make it happen in the first especially. They’re starting to play more of a team game which is good.
