I told him we were also looking to make something to air before our broadcast to replace the Jay Siegel intro. We have started it and hope to have it done by Friday. Obviously I'm hoping to have it all done by Friday so those of you planning to be at the game on Saturday will (hopefully) see it as well. And Lou, it's only a 1:30 and should garner more cheers so it's not just the student section watching TV :cool:

Makes total sense to have a different video for the house than for air - different displays, viewing environments, objectives....don't confuse making television shows with arena display programming - they are two different animals that demand different visuals, timing and sound.....I have been in both businesses and they don't mix well....good luck with the cut, I will be at the Ice Palace early to make a pest of myself.....

Loud 'n Cold - the display is the easy part...putting the right equipment package in place and the people to run it is much, much harder - putting up the WTOP signal isn't the solution... the right shots (tighter) from the proper angles in high resolution slow motion with no obstructions to be viewed on the display screen is tough enough in an NHL arena with a dedicated crew...

Well, if I crane my neck tight enough and look over to the WTOP set-up at the NW corner of the rink I can watch the replays (sort of) on their 32" monitor. :confused:

Then have at it....or better yet, put together an endowment fund with your Laker buddies to put the kind of replay and entertainment system you want in place and get it done right...I can put you in touch with the right people in the college development office....

Negative the Prez will be working on Saturday covering some local community college basketball at 1 and 3 p.m. Let me contain my excitement.

I will be able to watch the WTOP broadcast though. I swear to god I'm driving to Oswego and taking Jeremy Donovan's head off if that webcast doesn't work.

They had over 500 or 1000 viewers I think last year for the webcast and handled it fine. Better be the case again this year!

Webcast road test Friday Night v Potsdam...if it doesn't work Friday night, his head will already be off...if it doesn't work Saturday, I will leave a few body parts for you to mutilate....

Stormy - I was told that both games would be on the web - I have asked for confirmation from those who would know...if anyone here can confirm, please do...
