Well like almost every year it will probably be the lakers and the cards in the SUNYAC finial. But...anything can happen. One thing is for sure, its tough to beat a team 3 times in one season. I like platts. chances, as neither game they were blown out. They have the ability to stay with oswego. It will all come down to goal tending and "d" errors, as it always does. Let oswego carry the burden as #1. They def. earned it. What a great season they are having...but also remember what happened to the cards last year. :)

Be careful, history means nothing. 3 times in a row, something Oswego hasn't done in 30 years...

I am amazed through the 9-0-1 run thats all we heard was "what happened in the past" now that Oswego finally gets a few wins, the past means nothing...interesting.

I just took a quick glance at the All Time results, and it looks as if Oswego just dug their grave with their own shovel.

Plattsburgh has loss to Oswego twice in the regular season SUNYAC games a total of 4 times:
79-80
@ OSU 5-9
vs OSU 4-7

97-98

vs OSU 0-3

04-05 (one day off same scores)

HOWEVER, all three years when their were SUNYAC playoffs the Lakers and Cardinals faced one another. All three times it was IN Oswego. And all three times Plattsburgh has won. Just goes to show you how hard it is to sweep a team in the regular season and then beat them in the playoffs (at least when it comes to Plattsburgh and Oswego)

Once upon a time, about 23 years ago, two SUNYAC hockey teams met for the NCAA DIII championship, one team lost, but nobbody won!?!?!?

Just kidding...In all honesty, If Oswego and Plattsburgh meet again...My money is on the Cards.

My college roommate made me a cynical jack*****;) :p

In all seriousness...been a great year of hockey with three of my teams making the NCAA's. However, I haven't been able to enjoy D-III hockey nearly as much as in previous seasons with working all the time and only seeing 9? D-III games this year. That's the lowest total of D-III games I've seen since I was five.
