Never against an Emery lead team, but yes, Twice, 3 of their 30 wins (versus 65 losses) have came in the same season, and consecutively (so, no monkey on the back there).

I remember the recruiting trip I took to Plattsburgh. They showed us the video highlights of the 86-87 season. Every clip had Plattsburgh beating Oswego, it was pretty funny. One would have thought those were the only two teams in the country that year.

Has any SUNYAC team ever finished the SUNY regular season unbeaten and untied? I'm sure Platty has, but I think its been awhile.

No NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey has had a perfect season. In NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey, it has happened once - the Cornell Big Red in 1970 (29-0-0). The only NCAA Division II Men's Ice Hockey perfect season belongs to Bemidji State University in 1984 (31-0-0). In NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey, highlights are:

1992 - Plattsburgh 32-2-2
2000 - Norwich 29-2-1
2007 - Oswego St. 23-3-3
2008 - St. Norbert 27-1-4

FWIW: There has been only one perfect season in ACHA Men's Ice Hockey - 2008 - University of Illinois Fighting Illini (38-0-0).

I apologize to you and WTOP...all the past, present, and future people involved with the broadcast.

I hope another great whiteout game is in the future this year; it certainly will be fun.

I was thinking more along have any SUNY Champions finished the SUNY season unbeaten and untied? Platty last year was 15-0-1 I believe, so they had a tie. I know we would have to go back quite a ways if there were a team that accomplished an unblemished league schedule.
