By the way... if anybody thinks its puzzling that bin Laden would take an interest in the Arab revolutions has to be a total moron. That being said, the writers for CNN are total morons. There is no assurance that Eygpt will turn out the way that western liberalistic Eygptians would hope. The MB are already making motions that "sure, we'll give democracy a chance... and if that fails...." well, you know... or at least says an op-ed put out by the organization.
edit: i apologize to CNN... the gov't official is a total idiot, I hope his/her resignation is pending... followed by his/her return of his/her college degree(s). Of course bin Laden is going to take an interest in a vector for Islamists to take over. I hope to God our gov't doesn't actually believe that democracy is a necessary result of all that turmoil... I hope so, but most signs point to "no". Do they really think that bin Laden is going to be going "drats, we've been foiled by that precocious liberal democratic spirit!"?
