Re: Osama bin Laden Declared Dead
Good stuff.
I'll only believe it when I see the long form death certificate.

Chuck Norris!!....
I wonder who they get to break up those barfights?
Or at the least, get to use it for one wild weekend in Vegas?? 25 million for a crew of that size would be a pretty good start!Since we'll probably never know the names of the SEAL members, do they at least get to collect the $25 million reward?
I don't have a problem with it, but evidence usually doesn't shut up conspiracy theoriests.
Finally, Lindsey Graham among others, has tried to make some sort of point about we acted hastily is burying Bin Laden's body at sea.
The more you consider this, the more it was absolutely the right decision, and I'm sure it was part of the plan. Dumping the body as fish food, however disrespectful to Muslims, eliminated a million potential headaches that could arise with storing, studying, burying the thing somewhere. It's gone, and a point of contention is gone with it.
I rarely watch Geraldo, the least admirable "journalist" on the planet and even less frequently quote him. But, calling OBL an "sob" on national TV was perfect--a moment of zen.
Fish him out of the drink, bury him and build a shrine. Anyone who makes the pilgrimage gets mysteriously double tapped or GPS-tagged for further monitoringMaybe Graham wanted us to hang on to the corpse, the way the Russians hung on to Hitler's remains for decades. And we could have periodic exhumations and reburials. Plus, treating the corpse with entry level Muslim courtesy is unlikely to dissuade any dedicated Islamist, but it might. Nobody's hurt by the gesture.

Rep. King (R-NY) says the information came "after waterboarding." He doesnt explain what "after waterboarding" is...whether it be minutes after, or days, weeks, months after he was waterboarding.

From the sublime to the ridiculous: some Indian "leaders" are unhappy at the choice of the name Geronimo to designate OBL. They think it's "hostile" and "abusive." Maybe we could make it up to them by naming a college hockey team after the old boy.
