'Course now SHE'S out with a clarification. Sheesh. What on earth possibly convinced her this was the right thing to say? Just exactly how tone deaf can one person be? Was it the Gallup last week that showed 68% of Americans oppose this project, including 54% of Democrats?

I too have met many Muslims. And most are fine people. Read the Koran.
see what it says. it does not teach love peace or tolerance.

10% unemployment, the norm under this administration.

Take this scenerio: the people blamed for bringing down the towers were Catholic. The Pope wants to build a church two blocks away from the hole in the ground. Does anyone think that people would object? NOT A CHANCE!

Starting with the first paragraph of the article, Mormonism is fundamentally intolerant on its face. Mormonism should be condemned also...wait, what?

Come on. That article just blows.

And for the rest, Christianity and Islam are similar in a lot of ways. A lot of the religions' literature states, our way or the highway.

The difference is Christianity grew out of the violence that comes with that attitude 500 years ago. Islam may never do so.

It started 500 years after Christianity so it'll get there eventually. I've to wonder where Church of Scientology will be 200-500 years from now.

Didn't Islam already break up like Christianity into different sects. I remember watching PBS special on Pakistan and the different religious practices (sharia) in the tribal areas in the north vs the rest of the country.
