Big PC step forward at UMTC. God forbid that there would be a black kid somewhere in this country who doesn't see himself as a "victim." Well, if his teacher was trained at UMTC, that teacher will knock that attitude right out of the kid's head. He's a "victim". Living in an irredeemably racist country. And the sooner he learns that the better.

Sorry. But there ought to be enough outrage to go around on this one. I wonder if Louis Farrakhan wrote the syllabus!

Many years ago 60 minutes did a piece on parents who were upset about books used in schools in Kanawah (sp) county West Virginia. Morley Safer admitted up front his first reaction was that these people were, at a minimum, stupid ridge runners.

Turns out, one of the books in question had a section on how to apply for unemployment but no section on HOW TO LOOK FOR A JOB!

And a book of short stories for 4th or 5th graders had a story about some teenagers getting up a collection so a buddy could go to a bawdy house on his birthday.

Morely reconsidered his attitude.

Re: Nice Planet © 2009

Somebody has to reassure me that I'm not alone letting this bother me.

Tyrone Adair, a local dirtbag, last Thursday shot his live-in GF who was about to kick him out and their almost-2-YO-daughter in their car in the garage. He then drove to his ex-GF's place and shot HER and their almost-2-YO daughter and left their bodies in a trunk of a car. He then drove to Dodgeville (about 30 MI W of Madison) and called his GF's older daughters at home and told them Mommie and little sister won't be coming home tonight because they had a bad accident. Sometime over the next day he drove to Cottage Grove 10 minutes E of Madison, parked his GF's minivan, and ate a bullet.

So, here's his Obit, paid for by his family.

They mention that he was preceeded in death by his "Beloved" daughters - the ONES HE SHOT!!!!

Then they ask for memorial donations.

Does this annoy anybody but me??

Annoy is the least of it! What are the "donations" for? To pay for HIS funeral? I'm thinking that wood chipper in "Fargo" would be satisfactory.
Why don't these a-holes just kill themselves?

Drunk Boy, 4, Steals Christmas Presents

(MYFOX NATIONAL) - A 4-year-old boy had a wild night out after police found him drunk, wearing a girl's dress and wandering around his neighborhood on Tuesday.

April Wright, 21, told WTVC-TV that she panicked when she didn't see her son, Hayden, in his bed at her Chattanooga, Tenn., home at 1:45 in the morning. Hayden had somehow managed to break a safety device on a doorknob and get outside. Hayden was found walking in the neighborhood, drinking a 12-ounce beer.

"He runs away trying to find his father," April said. "He wants to get in trouble so he can go to jail because that's where his daddy is."

Police said that Hayden rang the doorbells of a few houses down the street, and one of the neighbors noticed he was holding a partially consumed beer. Hayden then went into a neighbor's house through the unlocked front door and stole five Christmas gifts. One of them was a brown dress that police found Hayden wearing.

"Going to the neighbor's house and taking their presents, very embarrassing," April said.

The police report indicated that Hayden had to be taken to the hospital to be treated for alcohol consumption.

"Kids do things like this and it's out of your control, you can do the best you can as a mother, everyone makes mistakes, it was an honest mistake," April said.

Last month a woman surprised police when she called 911 to report that she was drunk driving . Police arrested her and found that she had a blood alcohol level of 0.17.

Re: Nice Planet © 2009

That is without a doubt one of the best news articles I've ever read. There's so much going on in that story I don't even know where to begin. I'm shocked/amused/bewildered/angry all at the same time.

Yeah....There's alcohol, cross dressing, missing people, and theft all in one!
