The mother's name was April. She's 21 years old with a 4 year old. She claims the kid was trying to get to prison, because that's where daddy is.

And you're shocked that this happened in the south?

Well Jesus did have to kill all the prior pagan rituals in order for it to become "christmas". Why not kill another that is apparently symbolic of commercialism. But your observance of one our most important rights protected by the constitution is commendable. :rolleyes:

Maybe a little, for a short time. Thereafter it becomes a very bad joke, along the lines of "pull my finger." I've got a picture in my mind of a guy with a very old p/u, a mullet and "Grandmaw got run over by a reindeer" blasting from speakers in his front yard.

As someone whose Grandparents (Father's mother's side) went through Auschwitz, I guess I'm a bit outraged at this.

Thieves steal "Arbeit Macht Frei" sign from Auschwitz.

I can't believe they got away with it. Hopefully it can be recovered.

The only thing I thought was over the top was the director of Yad Va'Shem (Israel's Holocaust Memorial Museum) calling it an "act of war."

Seriously... Act of war?

In any case, I hope these idiots (the investigators state that the job required at least two people) are caught and allowed to participate in the very first live action reenactment of what life was like at Auschwitz... first by hard labor with little food and lots of beatings, followed by a special "shower" and a trip to the "hot storage unit."

Dumbasses who forgot the whole innocent until proven guilty part of American law. And dumbasses who claim that it's political correctness since judging people based on the color of their skin isn't very politically correct now is it?

I might need my memory refreshed on this sitation, but wasn't the bias against the Duke lacrosse team specifically aimed at rich, spoiled white kids?
