I don't think I've heard Chelsea Dagger at Xcel, either. Doesn't mean they've never played it of course. They've definitely played Sweet Caroline. My favorite is when they play this at the start of every third period.

You’re not wrong, replace the badge and those are essentially US Soccer jerseys (also made by Nike).

USA olympic jerseys unveiled today. Essentially went with soccer on ice.

The white sweater should always be the 1960 version. The primary color should either be the blue from 1960 or 1980, and if you want an alternate dark jersey since Nike is obsessed with using multiple blues, go with the 2010 blues.

I'd instead go with the '76 Canada Cup sweaters for the third.

I can't follow that link but my rule for jerseys is my rule for movies, starlets, literary criticism, science fiction, and ontology: if it's after 1959 it is almost certainly crap.

Simpler is better. And for logos, it should be something that can be doodled in a notebook.

The Canada ones are fugly. Black? Seriously?

I won't judge the US ones until I can see them with breezers, but yeah they look like soccer uniforms alone.

Finland, Sweden and the Czechs get this shit right. The US should use 1960 with 1980 mixed in but sadly $$$$....

I think Canada’s are okay. The reds would be better if the leaf was white instead of black. Another country who would be better off going back to at least the 2010 jerseys, or even further into the vault.

Tomorrow is also the final decision on China being allowed to compete for men’s hockey. If they do play, I’m not sure how many native Chinese will actually be on the team. The roster for the KHL team that’s the de facto national team only has seven from China.

Some, like Jake Chelios, don’t have any connection to China.

I have no problem with the host country having a team. Hopefully it draws some people into playing hockey in China. Would be good for the sport and the hosts.

I think the host country should always field a team, even if they get their a55es kicked or have to use some foreign-born players to be more competitive. The sport has plenty of room to grow, and say what you will about China's government (much of it valid), but the country is a huge untapped market.
