On a different subject, the Islanders lost again at home to the Sharks. That means John Tavares still has more wins at UBS Arena than the Islanders.
 
After pulling back on the initial decision, then going back and forth, missing their own set deadlines, the IIHF finally said yesterday that China will be allowed to play in February with whatever Chinese/Canadian/American hybrid team
they’ve pulled together.

That team is currently last in its division in the KHL and second to last in the entire league.
 
I don't think they move East or to Canada. I do like to think about who would move to the western conference if they did go to Quebec, though. I'd guess Detroit or Columbus, both of whom would pitch a fit with the west coast road trips.
 
Just move them to fucking Houston already.

QC and Hamilton aren't getting squat. Houston is the biggest remaining market that doesn't have an NHL team, and there have been previous discussions and a couple of attempts to move a team there, so you are likely correct.
